The Birth of Aphrodite’s Army

Johanna Sandström’s inspiration for Aphrodite’s Army was born out of a desire to create a narrative where women are not just supporting characters but the driving force behind change. She wanted to craft a universe where feminine energy is both feared and revered—a force that topples empires and rebuilds societies. In her own words: “I wanted to write a story where women weren’t waiting to be saved. They are the saviors, the warriors, the architects of their own destinies.”
